Just found that no apps can be installed, and my “Windows Installer” service can not start with error “msiexec.exe, the memory could not be read”. The fix is tricky.
If you Right Click on Windows Installer Service
Hit Properties
Navigate to the Log On tab
Check Mark Allow Service to Interact with Desktop
I am now able to install programs again, and haven’t seen the error messages.
