myGRID client Taverna-sync-ed
When the myGRID server is ready, the next step is to prepare the client for end users. One sad thing about Taverna is that the configuation files (by default) are edited locally. To use the new services from additional servers, users have to modify the “mygrid.properties” file manully. This apparently is not acceptable for normal bix people.
Compile graphviz on Mac os X 10.2.8
The installation of grahpiv 1.16 to Mac os X 10.2.8 using darwinports
fails at patching phase becase the supplied patch-makefile.in does not
work with the expect makefile.in in tools/src/ folder. It appears the
patch is for the older version of graphviz rather than ver 1.16.
PASTA Installation Done
I have finished installing PASTA on TLL oracle testing environments. The last patch took 8 hours to complete. Now Sridnas will go on with PASTA configuration.
Gentoo :: ALSA and Mplayer
I have configured ALSA for my laptop two days ago and it works rather well with MP3 play and other system sound. However, when I tried to compile mplayer with alsa sound and play with some avi movies, I got some errors.
