In a recent system clean-up, my PC environment messed up with a pop-up installation window requesting for “RMU.msi” file. However, I searched entire google and cannot find the download for this file.

IE – Cannot add sites to Trusted Sites
By default, the security configuration of my laptop was disabled in IE. I am not able to add sites as trusted, or change the customized level. Here is the way to fix it.
Running IIS application pool with domain account
Usually the IIS application pool runs as local network account. In a shared environment where the windows file could be seen from unix, the ID may not match. In some situation, we would need to set the application pool running as a domain account.

Fix “Cannot open” error in pkgadd
We downloaded memtool for Solaris 8, but found that “pkgadd -d . RMCmem” returns error “/tmp/RMCmem/install/request: cannot open”.
Migrating storagescope data from old ECC to new ECC server
The storagescope data are zipped xml files and could be copied directly from old server to new servers without any problem. Our old server is 5.2SP3 and the new on eis 5.2SP4. There is no version imcompatibility.
