回头看自己的Blog，从2003年在TLL使用MovableType，到后来转到Mambo/Joomla，直到现在的wordpress。比较起来，Joomla用在建站上值得，我投入学习的时间也没有白费。做博客还是Wordpress最方便。
写的零零碎碎，接起来确实六年的成长历程。人生的积累真是惊人呀。坚持实在是一种美德。

1999年12月，吃了我人生的第一个榴莲。朋友说如果你爱上吃榴莲，以后你就会留在新加坡。八年后的今天，和老婆出去买个3元的容器，回来的时候我抱着榴莲，老婆抱着迪克牛仔的CD。

Mambot Restricted access
After upgrading Joomla site from 1.0.10 to 1.0.11, I got a “restricted access” error when try to edit any mambot from backend.
鼻子通了！
被鼻炎折腾了几个月，终于好了！鼻子通了，说话也顺溜，连绕口令也玩得顺了！发贴纪念。 
Solidot.org helped with MySQL encoding
Solidot.org is a chinese clone of famous Slashdot.org. It is my favorite site to read geek IT news. Yesterday I read a “help request” from solidot.org for experienced Linux server expert. They encountered a problem to restore the MySQL dump to the new server. It appears to be text encoding problem.
Installed mambot for “google analytics”
I used to add a piece of javascript for each template so that my site is tracked by google analytics. It is kinda tedious. Now there is a mambot for it. Though it is a french mambot, it is easy to use and really works 
Joomla rocks.
Installed joomblog to manage comments
Joomla is not the perfect solution for blogging (yet). It is just usable for. One missing the comments management and tracking by date. I have tried a few components to manage comments (e.g. com_moscomment, akacomment etc), but this one is the best. The Joomblog, current version is 2.1-RC4. I have submitted a few bugs and suggestions to the author. It appears he is quite responsivie for the development.
Fix “NIS account” issue using nscd
We encounted a problem with current cluster that about 5-8% percent of jobs fail with error “can not find password entry for user ‘xxx’. User may not exists or NIS error”. This kind of error happens randomly to the submitted jobs and only affects NIS users (the local account works perfectly well).
